During the Covid 19 pandemic I learned some visual effects while locked away so that we could continue to move the project forward. It took months, but like the rest of us, I had some time on my hands.

The Tear began as a short film – delayed due to COVID – and has grown into a much bigger idea that we would like to expand on here on Patreon. As we continue to push forward with the short film, we will be producing and sharing with you original music, tales and art from that process.
We will also expand the universe with the additional stories and related material first here and on Hive.

#TheTear makes everything harder. More chaotic. In the city the danger is the number of people. In the suburbs the danger is too few and there are a lot of weird chirping noises at night here. I started making this film to cope with the insanity of the world. Maybe if I fictionalized The Tear I could in some microscopic way control it. The film moves forward as The Tear draws closer. The noises at night grow more numerous. Neighbors say to not go out too late at night. I now realize that I have to document life under the Tear as I make the short. The Internet is also affected. I think these accounts reach beyond this reality and into a place that isn’t tortured by Rozdzerack.
